“I believe every chess player senses beauty, when he succeeds in creating situations, which contradict the expectations and the rules, and he succeeds in mastering this situation.”

– Vladimir Kramnik

Life’s like a game of chess. Well, to be honest, I don’t really know how to play nor have I played chess more than once. However, I compare the two in terms of life and a game, both being full of critical thinking, strategic planning, and time management in order to keep moving forward.

Kramnik’s quote about sensing beauty and the capability to contradict the norms and expectations speaks boldly in fashion terminology. Think about it. A “fashion player” senses beauty in stepping out of the mundane to create elegant ‘picture perfect’ situations and sometimes that requires taking risks in what we choose to wear. Fashion isn’t always about following the trend. It requires the individual to master their own style that leaves a trail of sophistication from the moment of entrance to departure.

It’s been quite some time since I had the chance to sip on some tea and let my passion drive my energy into the form of writing and eventually share these posts with you. Time management is a work in progress.

Putting things aside, here is a classy, comfy, and casual look that is great for the brisk winds of fall and scurrying to classes, work, or running the usual errands.

Even though this outfit is monochromatic, the way you embody the clothing is also an essential component to the look’s completion. The blazer showcases more of a formal, yet professional vibe, while the white flow chiffon tank casts a very feminine concept. I paired my checkerboard slip-on vans to keep an edgy and casual tone to the entirety of my image. Lastly, to keep my hair tamed in the midst of fall’s mild wrath howling its breath towards me, I threw on a layered beanie to secure the hair and it keeps the ears all snuggled. Also, to give a contrast, I also alternated my hat choice to a baseball cap to portray a sporty chic aura.

As thanksgiving is quickly chiming into the holiday season, I am absolutely grateful. Thank you for taking just a moment of your time to read the words that hopefully deliver enthusiastic fashion vibes to you all. Nonetheless, more posts on fall/winter stylings will be coming at you soon, so please check back for more!

Blessed and thankful.

Cheers,

Inha
