“As you age, time seems to accelerate, but it is not time that has sped up; rather, it is your perception of time.” – Will Bowen
Let the countdown begin:
Six days.
Time for change.
Something is stirring. A nostalgic delivery is being hurled at us.
The crisp air sweeps up sweet aromas, leaving traces of cinnamon apple and pumpkin spice along every path.
Hello Autumn. Welcome back.
Ah, yes. YAS. We are turning over a new leaf as nature dyes itself. How refreshing is it to see the leaves sprinkled upon the ground, letting us create a beat with every step we take. As if this time of year doesn’t get me excited enough, I think I can say it’s my favorite season to experiment with style. Because #layering, ya know? But it’s also the perfect time to bring in warmer tones to your daily look.
In this OOTD, I wanted my outfit to belt out simplicity with a dash of ladylikeness. So I combined neutral tones of white, beige and tan because these colors never fail to complement each other.
For the top, I’m wearing a white tank top tucking it slightly in the front. Then I threw on one of my favorite pieces in my closet, which is this lightweight polyester motor jacket in off-white. Unique from the norm, this motor jacket portrays a feminine vibe rather than grungy and masculine.
For the bottoms I wore a pair of tan culottes and finished off the look with beige wedges. Culottes are super comfortable…I mean, they are basically pants disguised as skirts. Besides the comfiness, I think they add a sense of elegance and chicness. Especially if you add some height to your look with your choice of shoes, you can elongate your overall appearance which is always a bonus for me. WAHOOS. Finally as for accessories, I kept it simple and wore a thick golden hoop to create a bold atmosphere.
On a personal note:
Time has surely flown by in 2017…or rather my perception of time. It’s hard to think that we’re nearly approaching the new year in 4 months. And I can barely grasp the idea that it’s been over a year since I’ve lasted posted. As passionate and determined I might have been, the busyness of other commitments have limited me from venturing into the blogging realm. It feels nice to be Inhagongju again. Leaving this post here, leaves me Sweetly Dazed. Oh nostalgia~how you always get me. I hope I can continue to use this platform to unleash passions and thoughts I wish to share more often. Even if it means every now and then.
Cheers,
Inha
